We are seeking a qualified Casual Pilot to join our team at Forest Protection Limited. As a Project Pilot, you will be responsible for operating assigned aircraft in accordance with our Company Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operate assigned aircraft in accordance with FPL's Company Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures
- Adhere to instructions issued by officers of the Department of Natural Resources on fire suppression or instructions from the base manager when assigned to aerial application projects
- Report all items requiring maintenance on the aircraft as soon as possible
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the aircraft at all times
- Successful candidates will be expected to work in a team environment, and shifts operate on a stand-by according to weather conditions
- Possess a Commercial Pilot License - Fixed wing
- Experience in a Piper Aerostar, Cessna Caravan, or aircraft equipped with a Garmin G1000NXI is an asset
- Have a valid driver's license for travel within and outside the province
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Have a valid passport
