Technology

Our Technology department is responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and supporting the technical solutions behind our products and services. The department is comprised of 10 organizations, each with its own unique charter and responsibilities. The Client Channels Technology department is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm's Technology Division, focused on developing client-facing websites and mobile applications.

Position Description

This position is for a senior iOS Developer on our Company's Wealth Management hybrid App in Calgary. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting external client-facing web and mobile applications in an open and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities and Skills

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iOS development, including experience with Objective-C, Swift 5.5, and C++. They will also have a deep understanding of iOS programming concepts, including threading, crash analysis, and swizzling. Additionally, they will have experience with JavaScript programming using Node and hybrid app debugging via Safari. The candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining custom Cordova plugins, performing annual maintenance on the codebase, and monitoring production feedback and crash reports.

Requirements

The candidate must have a BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are also required. Experience developing APIs, Android app development, and strong user experience skills are desired but not required.
