Drywall Installer Job Description

Nagi Drywall Inc. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and sanding seams and joints.

Responsibilities:
  • Install drywall sheets, ensuring a smooth and even surface
  • Apply coats of compound, sanding seams and joints to achieve a seamless finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty and noisy environments
  • Commercial, residential, and various locations experience
  • Ability to work in employer's/client's home
