Job Description

Blue Chip Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Portfolio Management Analyst to join our team. As a Portfolio Management Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting various elements of our investment operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Data Management: Maintain and reconcile client portfolio data and pooled funds, analyze performance discrepancies, and verify NAV reporting for pooled funds.
  • Currency Hedging Strategies: Monitor and execute currency hedging strategies to minimize risk and maximize returns.
  • Client Portfolio Management: Ensure client portfolios are on mandate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting and Administration: Coordinate various reports, prepare financial statement request letters, and follow up on information.
  • Client Queries and Support: Respond to ad hoc client portfolio queries from custodians, portfolio managers, financial advisors, and consultants.
  • Trade Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on trades, including capital calls for alternative assets.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with third-party service providers and work with portfolio management teams to ensure needs are met.
  • Investment Committee Meetings: Attend Investment Committee meetings and stay up-to-date with important valuation or policy changes.
  • Compliance and Administration: Perform regular administration duties of all investment files and compliance projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • A degree in finance, economics, or a relevant field.
  • Progress on the CFA or CIM designation is desirable.
  • A minimum of 3 years related experience; fund accounting experience is preferred.
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using Croesus Portfolio Management and Dataphile software is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, in a team environment.
