Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanic to join our team at Caravel Group Inc. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical and mechanical equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems, including electric motors, transformers, switchgear, and generators.
  • Perform welding and brazing tasks to repair or replace damaged components.
  • Assemble, install, and test various types of coils and electrical equipment.
  • Provide on-site servicing and repair of electrical equipment, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Verify the proper functioning of repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to noise and dust.
  • Regularly lift and handle heavy equipment and materials.
  • Stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Utilize manual dexterity to perform precise tasks.
