Quality Assurance Team Leader and Business Analyst

TemboSocial Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Team Leader and Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of testers, coordinating with the development team, and ensuring that solutions meet business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Quality Assurance and/or Business Analysis, with a proven track record of leading QA teams and working in product development areas. They will be responsible for developing test plans, test cases, and collaborating with account managers to verify and validate results. They will also be responsible for identifying and documenting defects, tracking and reporting on defects, and verifying resolution of defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Test Plans and Test Cases: Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
  • Identifying and Documenting Defects: Identify defects and document them in a clear and concise manner.
  • Tracking and Reporting on Defects: Track and report on defects, including their status and resolution.
  • Verifying Resolution of Defects: Verify that defects have been resolved and that solutions meet business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Quality Assurance and/or Business Analysis: Proven experience in Quality Assurance and/or Business Analysis, with a focus on leading QA teams and working in product development areas.
  • Experience Leading QA Teams: Experience leading QA teams and coordinating with development teams.
  • Experience Working in Product Development Areas: Experience working in product development areas, with a focus on end-to-end functional testing and release management coordination.
  • Experience Working in Functional Testing: Experience working in functional testing, including black box and white box testing.
  • Strong Documentation Skills: Strong documentation skills, with the ability to write clear and concise test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
  • Ability to Define Project Scope and Technical Specifications: Ability to define project scope and technical specifications, set clear goals and expectations, and prioritize activities.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation, problem resolution, and customer service.
  • Outstanding Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people regardless of their technical skill set.
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Application Release Management: Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and application release management.
  • Experience Presenting Projects to Upper Management: Experience presenting projects to upper management and the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

Nice to Have:

  • Expertise with Selenium, Selenium IDE, and Scripting for Automation: Expertise with Selenium, Selenium IDE, and scripting for automation.
  • Experience with PHP Unit, HTML, and CSS: Experience with PHP unit, HTML, and CSS.
  • Certification as a Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP), Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), or Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE): Certification as a Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP), Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), or Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE).
