Westwinds Community Church is seeking a visionary leader to serve as our next Lead Pastor. As a cornerstone of faith and community in Cloverdale, we strive to inspire transformational lives through faith, guided by the call in Luke 10:37 to 'go and do likewise.'

Our Mission
We actively support our community in numerous acts of service, participating in local charities and running the school lunch program for an inner-city school. Our core values—Biblical Integrity, Discipleship, and Outreach—shape everything we do. We aim to be a church where open and honest discussions about life's tough questions are welcomed without judgment.

Key Responsibilities
Our next Lead Pastor will champion and protect our spiritual and doctrinal values while proactively encouraging our church to embrace multiculturalism and diverse communities. A key focus will be growing our church by engaging and attracting younger generations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, effective communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to pastoral ministry. They will also possess a strong understanding of outreach and community-mindedness, as well as basic administration and marketing skills.

Requirements
The successful candidate will meet the scriptural prerequisites found in Titus 1: 7-9, 1 Peter 5:2, and Matthew 28:19-20. They will hold current credentials and be ordained with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC) or the Assemblies of God (AOG) or be an applicant approved by the executive officers of the BC/Yukon PAOC District. A criminal record check and employment references will be required upon request.
