Nani's Esthetics and Laser Center Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. This is a permanent position offering a flexible work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years in massage therapy or a related field.
- Certification: Must hold certification from a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
The ideal candidate should be open to relocation and comfortable working in various settings, including:
- Medical facilities or clinics
- Spa environments
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to create effective treatment plans for clients.
- Utilizing various massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation methods, hydrotherapy, and trigger point therapy.
- Conducting assessments through range of motion and muscle tests to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
- Communicating procedures, risks, and benefits clearly to clients.
- Maintaining accurate records of treatments administered.
- Performing massage and kneading techniques on muscles and soft tissues.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Pass a criminal record check.
- Possess personal transportation.
- Exhibit manual dexterity and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Be prepared for repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
