Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' financial objectives and aspirations.
  • Design, implement, and manage accounting frameworks.
  • Oversee and mentor accounting staff.
  • Provide training and development for team members.
  • Evaluate and interpret clients' financial documentation.
  • Compile financial data for individuals, departments, or organizations.
  • Create tailored financial strategies for clients.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and audit results.
  • Draft financial statements and documentation.
  • Prepare tax returns based on accounting records.
  • Review financial documents and reports for accuracy.
  • Scrutinize accounting records for compliance.
  • Offer expert financial, business, and tax guidance.
  • Facilitate new stock and bond issues.

Qualifications
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as Certified General Accountants (CGA) - level 1 and level 3, or Certified Management Accountants (CMA) - level 2.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in accounting software including ACCPAC, Simply Accounting, Quick Books, and Caseware/Caseview.
  • Familiarity with database software and internet applications.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Windows.
  • Experience with TaxPrep software.
