About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) System: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Stock and Merchandise: Receive and stock merchandise, maintain a visually appealing store display, and ensure that all products are properly priced and labeled.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure that the sales floor, stockroom, and checkout area are clean, tidy, and well-organized.
  • Support Store Operations: Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting tills, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail sales experience.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Basic knowledge of electronic cash registers and price scanners.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
