Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Sunstar homes Inc. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist in Pipeline Construction: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Assist in Framing and Building: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level Earth and Pave Asphalt: Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt as required.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Remove Debris and Direct Traffic: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a work term of 30 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring strong physical stamina and attention to detail.
