Job Title: Apprentice Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our team at PR Mechanical Ltd. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of plumbing projects, from residential to commercial and industrial.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing projects
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections and fixtures
  • Cut openings in walls and floors for pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines
