Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Home Support Worker to provide essential assistance to clients in their homes. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of individuals, particularly the elderly, in a supportive environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role or equivalent experience
Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients
  • Administer prescribed medications
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks
  • Encourage and assist in regular physical activities, such as walking
  • Change non-sterile dressings as needed
  • Guide new parents in infant care
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Plan and prepare therapeutic diets and meals
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Shop for food and household necessities
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook meals as required
