Job Title: Concrete Forms Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team at Advance Forming Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, preparing layouts, and constructing foundations, floor beams, and roof systems using wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
Work Environment

The Concrete Forms Carpenter will work in a fast-paced construction environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
