Laboratory Assistant

At Dynacare, we're seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our laboratory services.

• Process blood samples and other laboratory specimens accurately and efficiently
• Enter requisitions and results in a timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues
• Manage anxious patients through the sample obtaining process with empathy and care
• Prioritize and self-manage within a deadline-oriented environment
• Ensure all confidential information is maintained in a secure fashion

• Secondary School diploma and Laboratory Assistant training program or Medical Lab Assistance course with phlebotomy specialization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
