Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team in Cranbrook, BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment on public roadways, maintaining awareness of surroundings
- Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate, and refill as necessary
- Maneuver heavy equipment into loading and unloading positions
- Travel and work out of town occasionally when required
Requirements
- Class 5 Driver License
- Pass a Drug Test
- Experience operating equipment in construction areas preferred
- Ability to perform manual labor
- Meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
- Work overtime as required
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors
