Position Overview
Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a dedicated Parts Planning Lead. This role involves collaborating closely with the Parts Planning Manager to oversee the formulation of processes related to service parts management. The incumbent will play a crucial role in defining essential attributes, establishing stocking criteria, and conducting thorough analyses of performance metrics. This position serves as the primary liaison between the Parts Planning and Engineering divisions, actively participating in the Product Development Process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of Parts Planners and Technical Writers to achieve all objectives set by the Parts Planning division.
- Fulfill all Parts Planning requirements as outlined in the Product Development Process, which includes generating service parts lists, determining parts stocking logic, and establishing initial stocking needs for warehouses and dealers.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Parts Planning.
- Establish the criteria and methodology for assigning attributes to all service parts within Master Data systems.
- Coordinate with the Service division to manage parts related to Product Improvement Programs and Service Bulletins.
- Engage with Engineering teams to ensure that design modifications align with parts management strategies.
- Oversee the process of updating part attribute information resulting from engineering revisions.
- Supervise the creation and upkeep of Parts publications.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required.
