Job Summary

SKY-HII GROUP INC. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Optimization: Utilize computer equipment, GPS systems, and other navigation devices to plan and adjust routes, minimizing fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Travel Arrangements and Itineraries: Arrange travel and related itineraries, making reservations as needed.
  • Vehicle Operation and Maintenance: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, overseeing the condition of the vehicle and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Cargo Management: Load and unload goods, obtain special permits and documents required for international routes, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Emergency Response and Maintenance: Perform emergency roadside repairs, perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping: Pay and receive payments for goods, and maintain accurate records of cargo information and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
