Job Summary

As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning staff, ensuring that our sites and facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our sites and facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure that our standards are met.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities for additional services, such as painting, repair work, or renovations, and recommend these to management.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date, including payment records and budget reports.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance and facilities, to ensure that our cleaning services are integrated with their operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Experience in a supervisory or management role is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
