Position Overview

Fastrack Glass Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Automotive Glass Technician to join our skilled team. This role involves a variety of tasks focused on the repair and maintenance of automotive glass components.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school education is mandatory.
Work Environment

The work site is characterized by a noisy atmosphere, requiring adaptability and focus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and organize the workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Replace damaged front end and body components, including doors and underbody parts.
  • Prepare surfaces for repair by filing, grinding, and sanding.
  • Utilize masking and taping techniques for painting preparations.
  • Repair dents and imperfections using appropriate tools.
  • Remove and replace damaged panels, fenders, and grills.
  • Apply primers and perform repainting tasks.
  • Fix or replace interior glass components.
  • Repair or substitute damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
  • Straighten bent frames using specialized equipment.
Transportation and Travel
  • Possession of personal transportation is required.
  • Public transportation options are available.
Physical Demands

This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Tools
  • Steel-toed safety boots are necessary for this role.
