Senior Backend Developer

As a Senior Backend Developer at BoostSecurity, you will design, implement, and test high-performance backend features and infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with a Product Manager, Designer, and other engineers to deliver software in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and testing high-performance backend features and infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contributing to improving product effectiveness, team velocity, and continuous deployment capabilities.
  • Providing mentorship to junior engineers to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blockers to their autonomy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of building highly performing, high-quality, event-driven backends.
  • Expertise in building cloud-based backend applications with a microservice architecture.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in diagnosing and resolving issues and performance bottlenecks with event-driven, microservices-oriented backends.
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-quality Python code.
