Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and support cross-platform databases solutions such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Clickhouse, and Microsoft SQL.
  • Collaborate with internal development, investment, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of database solutions.
  • Develop and optimize database indexes, triggers, and stored procedures to ensure high performance and scalability.
  • Provide expert-level support for Linux systems administration and database management.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure database solutions meet the needs of the business.
  • Develop and maintain database documentation and knowledge base.
  • Participate in the development of database standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in database administration, with a strong focus on high availability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, and Microsoft SQL, with a strong understanding of database design and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and database management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other database platforms, such as ClickHouse, FoundationDb, MSSQL, MongoDb, Redis, and Neo4j.
  • Experience with configuration management tools, such as Chef, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring stacks, such as Prometheus exporters, LogStash, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, and AlertManager.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud providers, such as AWS and GCP.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and containers (standalone and Kubernetes).
