Entry-Level Geotechnical Technician

Become a part of the dynamic team at Thurber Engineering Ltd. as an Entry-Level Geotechnical Technician. Our firm specializes in geotechnical, environmental, and construction materials engineering and testing services throughout Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute field evaluations and oversight during construction activities
  • Perform on-site testing of materials at construction locations
  • Conduct laboratory analyses within soil, concrete, and asphalt testing facilities
  • Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory instruments and supplies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver technical assistance
  • Keep precise records of testing procedures and results
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 Driver's license
  • Openness to working in diverse settings
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with laboratory soil testing methodologies
