About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Lullaboo Nursery and Childcare center. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development and Education
    • Assess children's development to create personalized learning plans.
    • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
    • Encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Child Care and Support
    • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
    • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
    • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers and community service providers.
    • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
  • Professional Development
    • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
    • First Aid Certificate.
    • CPR Certificate.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education and teaching.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and dependability.
  • Team player with interpersonal awareness and values and ethics.
