The Grand Erie District School Board invites applications for Secondary Unqualified Occasional Teachers.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking unqualified occasional teachers to work on an 'as needed' basis in our secondary schools. Successful candidates will be offered work when no qualified occasional teachers are available. We expect unqualified occasional teachers to have regular availability to accept assignments in some or all Grand Erie secondary schools.
**Responsibilities:**
Unqualified occasional teachers will be responsible for teaching secondary school subjects on a short-term basis. They will work under the supervision of permanent teachers and will be expected to follow the Board's policies and procedures.
**Requirements:**
To be eligible for this position, applicants must have successfully completed an undergraduate degree and be currently working towards a Bachelor of Education degree. They must also have a strong understanding of the Ontario curriculum and be able to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
**What We Offer:**
We offer a competitive daily rate of pay, approximately $236.35 per day, plus vacation pay. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a team of dedicated educators.
