JOB SUMMARY
COMPENSATION: $18/hour
We are seeking individuals with experience in merchandising or retail to become part of our dynamic merchandising team.
In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the merchandising strategies of our clients while fostering strong relationships with Store and Department Managers. This role is ideal for someone who prefers daytime hours, is open to occasional travel, and thrives in a self-directed environment while benefiting from a supportive team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and refresh shelving, displays, and walls in accordance with the provided planogram and guidelines.
- Strategically plan and schedule visits to stores within your designated area.
- Communicate your work schedule to team members as necessary.
- Participate in training sessions, including conference calls and online training.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key in-store personnel.
- Complete all reporting tasks, including daily reports that feature photographs of completed assignments, submitted online.
- Effectively communicate and manage various store visits, including major retailers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in merchandising is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in understanding and implementing changes to a planogram.
- Strong organizational abilities, capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines.
- Energetic, self-driven, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Adaptable and flexible in various situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Availability to work Monday through Friday during daytime hours, up to 20 hours per week.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel up to 160 kilometers from your home region.
- Proficient with computers, having access to a PC and the internet, and capable of taking and submitting photos of your work.
