About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistant to join our team at the Upper Canada District School Board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction and supervision of the Principal and in consultation with the Learning Resource Teacher (LRT) and classroom teacher to support students with diverse needs.
  • Assist students with daily tasks, provide emotional support, and help create a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to develop and implement individualized support plans for students.
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and supportive learning experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the role.
