The Role

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in cloud architecture, operations, and security. As a Principal Cloud DevOps Specialist, you'll oversee the deployment and operations of our tools, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between software development, testing, and operations teams, driving efficiency and innovation across our organization.

Your Impact

  • Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions to support our R&D organization.
  • Develop and maintain CICD pipelines and processes for on-premises and cloud computing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and recommend tools and process improvements in cloud operations, monitoring, and security.
  • Enable a culture of accountability and collaboration with customer support, development, security, and product management teams.
  • Assist with implementation and adherence to security best practices and certification controls.
  • Document operational processes and critical infrastructure.
  • Maintain clear communications, documentation, and timely support.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and modern technologies that could benefit operations, security, or cloud solutions.
  • Mentor and support technical growth of team members.
  • Participate in on-call rotation of critical events.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or equivalent, with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong cloud architecture, cloud operations, security architecture, security engineering, and DevOps skills.
  • Experience with container engines such as Docker.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CrossPlane, etc.
  • Experience with SCM and CI/CD systems such as Gitlab and GitHub.
  • Experience with Artifact Repositories and Vulnerability Scanning.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, and other public cloud providers.
  • Experience with GitOps and Promotion Models.
  • Experience with monitoring systems and log management.
  • Exposure to agile development methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Bilingualism - ability to communicate in writing and spoken in both French and English is a plus.
