On a typical day, the Retail Operations Leader will:

Leadership Responsibilities

Cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere focused on teamwork, productivity, and employee satisfaction. Recruit, develop, and mentor talented individuals for career advancement. Coordinate staff schedules in partnership with the Store Manager. Maintain adherence to company policies and operational standards. Set a high-performance standard by exemplifying desired behaviors aligned with Herschel's values. Assist with administrative tasks related to management and reporting. Evaluate team performance, providing timely feedback and collaborating with the Store Manager on personnel matters. Contribute to the performance evaluation process led by the Store Manager. Support payroll functions and maintain employee records.

Product, Sales, and Customer Service

Act as a mentor to Sales Associates, leading by example in their professional growth. Oversee effective product presentation and merchandising to enhance sales and customer experience. Acquire and share comprehensive knowledge of Herschel products, including their features and benefits. Proactively manage store loss prevention and inventory control in accordance with company policies.

Store Environment and Marketing Initiatives

Assist in implementing marketing strategies, including events and visual merchandising, to drive customer engagement and sales. Ensure the store's organization and cleanliness are maintained to high standards. Collaborate on innovative solutions to adapt seasonal themes within the store environment while supporting merchandising efforts.

ABOUT YOU

Proven experience in a retail leadership role, such as Key Holder or Assistant Store Manager. Strong ability to connect with customers through exceptional service and visual merchandising. Demonstrated success in developing and promoting team members towards their career aspirations. Proficient in analyzing retail performance metrics and translating insights into actionable strategies. Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Experience in merchandising and inventory management. Capable of managing multiple projects and fostering team development. Enthusiastic about problem-solving and creative thinking. Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently. Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.

COMPENSATION

$21-26 per hour based on experience.
