Caregiver Assistant

About Horizon Gestion de résidences
HORIZON Gestion de résidences is a private residence manager for seniors, comprising 8 residences in the Greater Montreal and Ottawa regions. We are seeking a Caregiver Assistant to fill a part-time day, evening, or night shift position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and assistance to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of other caregiver assistants, ensuring a fair distribution of tasks.
- Ensure compliance with best clinical practices and maintain a safe and respectful environment for residents and staff.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families.
- Participate in staff training, orientation, and integration.
- Collaborate with colleagues to prevent and manage workplace risks.
Requirements
- Member of the OIIAQ (Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec).
- DEP in Health, Assistance, and Nursing (SASI).
- Up-to-date RCR and PDSB certifications.
- Proficient in both French and English.
- Compassionate, responsible, and empathetic individual.
