We are seeking a skilled Arborist to join our team at Capital Tree. As an arborist, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of trees in urban environments.
Key Responsibilities- Tree Pruning and Trimming: Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective, including crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, and vista pruning.
- Treatment and Repair: Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, and repairing damaged areas, as well as injecting treatment solutions.
- Tree Planting and Removal: Plant and move trees, as well as remove trees as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate various vehicles and equipment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Certifications: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles) and Air Brakes Endorsement.
This is a physically demanding role that requires handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
