CNC Programmer Job Description

To succeed as a CNC Programmer at HONGYAN PRECISION MANUFACTURING LIMITED, you should have extensive experience working in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently. A top-class CNC Programmer works quickly and efficiently, ensuring all products meet the specifications of the client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program CNC code utilizing CAD data and 3D software
  • Determine the best available machining process
  • Create and set up process work sheets for CNC operators
  • Ensure that work holding, surface finish, and part tolerances have been considered
  • Set up and adjust CNC machine and performance maintenance when required
  • Ensure high quality standards and deadlines for parts are met
  • Interest in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Interacting with other CNC machinists
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous work experience as a CNC Programmer using MasterCAM (minimum 1 year)
  • Ability to read and interpret design blueprints
  • Extensive experience with computer modeling software
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and stick to a deadline
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work after-hours when required

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 – 44 per week

Additional Pay: Bonus pay, Commission pay

Benefits: Profit sharing
