Job Title: Database Developer

Xideral North America Inc is seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Database Developer to design, implement, and maintain our company's database systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in database management, data analysis, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement database solutions to meet business requirements
  • Design and optimize database structures for improved performance and data integrity
  • Write and maintain complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems, including Sybase and DB2
  • Experience with data analysis and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience with the following would be an asset:

  • Cloud-based database management systems
  • Scripting languages such as Python and Unix/Linux shell
  • Reporting tools like PowerBI and Tableau
