Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Agfa Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join its Waterloo, Ontario team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting software within a project scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software components for our Enterprise Imaging Platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets all requisite software development practices and sanctioned work processes.
  • Participate in the architecture and design of large software components.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration test plans and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and company standards, tools, and technology.
Requirements:
  • College/University degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related degree/diploma.
  • 5+ years of experience in hands-on development, design, and coding experience with Java/Angular/Springboot.
  • Experience with Java/Springboot/Angular/Kubernetes/Helm/Playwright.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle & SQL.
  • Attention to detail and ability to quickly absorb new concepts and technologies.
  • Good verbal and written communication and knowledge transfer skills.
  • Team player with problem-solving skills.
  • Agile work environment experience.
  • Solid commitment to quality software development.
