Job Summary

Vancouver Northern Food Inc is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Labourer to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. As a Production Labourer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality food products while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Safety and Handling: Maintain a high level of food safety awareness and adhere to all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure the quality of our products.
  • Material Handling: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials throughout the production area, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Machinery Operation: Feed and unload processing machines, and assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
  • Quality Control: Check products and packaging for basic quality defects and report any issues to the production team.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the cleaning of machines and immediate work areas.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and repetitive tasks are required for this position.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
