Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Days Inn & Suites By The Falls. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of hotel facilities.
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates for housekeeping supplies and services.
- Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Assist housekeeping staff in performing duties as needed.
- Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in housekeeping or a related field is an asset.
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, and First Aid Certificate are required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and handle heavy loads.
- Parking available.
- Permanent employment opportunity.
- 30 to 40 hours per week.
