Job Description

Mad Ox Inc. is seeking a skilled Waiter/Waitress to join our team. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Addressing Customer Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve specialty food and beverages to customers, ensuring that all orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Presenting Bills and Accepting Payment: Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit, or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings.
  • Menu Description and Recommendations: Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Guest Interaction: Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Order Taking and Communication: Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff, ensuring that all orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
