About the Role

MIDAS AUTO SERVICE EXPERTS is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist experienced technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Develop skills in using diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and repair problems.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and basic tools required.
  • Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English language.
