Procurement Planner

East West Québec is seeking a Procurement Planner to maintain close relationships between our suppliers and production planning team.

Daily Highlights

  • Communicate with production, suppliers, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure critical deliveries arrive on time.
  • Notify the planning and program management of any delivery delays.
  • Oversee the daily meeting on critical parts with planning and program management.
  • Coordinate all supply chain activities related to critical part meetings.
  • Promote suppliers to deliver critical parts.
  • Take action by shipping, escalating, or procuring all critical parts.
  • Act as a liaison to involve management in supplier escalations.
  • Update required information in the MRP system (dates, tracking numbers, comments).
  • Place orders with suppliers as needed.

Do You Recognize Yourself?

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing/supply chain in an industrial environment.
  • University education or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in purchasing electronic components at the board level or purchasing custom parts.
  • Proven experience in achieving client objectives (internal and external).
  • Fluent French and English (spoken and written).
  • Good computer skills (advanced Excel).
