We are seeking a skilled Fabricator, Metal Specialist to join our team at Sucro Can Canada Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components for our sugar refinery.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, ensuring precision and quality.
- Weld or bolt sections together, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, maintaining optimal performance and efficiency.
- Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring seamless integration.
- Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts, meeting quality and production targets.
- Check and monitor product quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Document work completed, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, minimizing downtime and optimizing production.
- 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication and assembly.
- Strong knowledge of metalworking machines and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
