About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bread Baker to join our team at Bread & Bretzel Basket. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and sweet goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate machinery as needed.
  • Special Orders: Prepare special orders as required.
  • Decorating: Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Scheduling: Draw up production schedules.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
