  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by adhering to recipes, cooking times, and presentation guidelines.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Customer Service: Prepare special orders and ensure that customers with food allergies or intolerances receive suitable alternatives.
  • Supervision: Supervise 1 to 2 team members to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
