Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent patient service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Register and book patient visits, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is entered into the patient information system
  • Enter and verify patient data, including demographic and medical information
  • Collaborate with the medical imaging team to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction

Requirements

  • High school diploma and/or post-secondary medical secretarial education or equivalent
  • Successful completion of PM Access training and certification
  • Proven experience in a clinical scheduling environment, including experience with Cerner ESM
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Microsoft Office experience, including Word and Excel
