Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Auditor to join our team at Gateway Casinos. As an Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct compliance, financial, and operational audits to assess adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify audit irregularities and areas for improvement, and assist with recommendations.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, and notify supervisors of any discrepancies.
  • Review slot machine function to ensure proper revenue reporting, and validate that controls are in place in accordance with Departmental or Internal Control Manual(s).
  • Assist with site payroll.
Requirements
  • A college diploma or equivalent with a focus in Accounting or a designation in the Accounting field, or comparable working experience in the related fields.
  • Working experience in a related field of one (1) or more years.
  • Proven high level of Customer Service.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer software packages.
  • The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
