Job Title: Construction Labourer and Helper

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Skyland Painting. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring the smooth execution of projects, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the construction site.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
Work Environment:

As a Construction Labourer and Helper, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be required to lift heavy loads, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy loads.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
