Position Summary

As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and team members within our dynamic casino environment. You'll be responsible for upholding company policies, protecting assets, and providing exceptional customer service to all patrons.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain a vigilant presence by monitoring activities, identifying potential risks, and reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents promptly.
  • Enforce access restrictions to designated areas, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
  • Conduct regular patrols of both interior and exterior premises, maintaining order and addressing any concerns that arise.
  • Assist guests and team members with inquiries, escorting individuals as needed and providing a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and medical attention when required.
  • Collaborate with the Security Supervisor to implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Education and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is essential; post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role or within the hospitality industry is highly valued.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle conflict resolution effectively are crucial.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain a Responsible Beverage Service certification is preferred.
