Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Lead Project Consultant will be responsible for overseeing a diverse range of projects for various clients and will aim to become the primary contact for a designated group of clients.
Key Responsibilities at Pinchin Ltd.
- Oversee a variety of regulatory and due diligence projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion
- Engage with clients to comprehend their project needs
- Develop and submit proposals
- Conduct senior technical reviews of regulatory and due diligence submissions
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to foster new client relationships and sustain existing ones
- Cultivate leadership and mentorship abilities by guiding junior and intermediate staff
Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor's Degree in Science (preferably Environmental or Earth Sciences) or a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Science
- A P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation is advantageous but not mandatory
- A minimum of three years of experience in environmental consulting, with at least three years in a project management role
- Proficiency in conducting and managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for due diligence, including soil vapour and indoor air quality assessments
- Familiarity with Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments for filing Records of Site Condition in accordance with relevant regulations
- Knowledge of Excess Soil Management regulations
- Experience with underground storage tank removal programs and/or remedial excavations
- Competence in invoicing, budgeting, and project financial management
- Background in business development and client engagement
- Excellent communication and professional presentation skills
- Strong writing abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A valid driver's license and insurance are necessary (work-related travel expenses will be reimbursed)
