Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Lead Project Consultant will be responsible for overseeing a diverse range of projects for various clients and will aim to become the primary contact for a designated group of clients.

Key Responsibilities at Pinchin Ltd.

  • Oversee a variety of regulatory and due diligence projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their project needs
  • Develop and submit proposals
  • Conduct senior technical reviews of regulatory and due diligence submissions
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to foster new client relationships and sustain existing ones
  • Cultivate leadership and mentorship abilities by guiding junior and intermediate staff

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Science (preferably Environmental or Earth Sciences) or a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Science
  • A P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation is advantageous but not mandatory
  • A minimum of three years of experience in environmental consulting, with at least three years in a project management role
  • Proficiency in conducting and managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for due diligence, including soil vapour and indoor air quality assessments
  • Familiarity with Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments for filing Records of Site Condition in accordance with relevant regulations
  • Knowledge of Excess Soil Management regulations
  • Experience with underground storage tank removal programs and/or remedial excavations
  • Competence in invoicing, budgeting, and project financial management
  • Background in business development and client engagement
  • Excellent communication and professional presentation skills
  • Strong writing abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A valid driver's license and insurance are necessary (work-related travel expenses will be reimbursed)
