About the Role
Odgers Berndtson is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Finance to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our financial functions, including treasury, financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, investment management, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's overall vision and goals
- Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Manage and maintain relationships with financial regulatory authorities, external auditors, and other key stakeholders
- Oversee the development and implementation of internal controls and risk management strategies
- Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders to drive business growth and development
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a not-for-profit or industry-funded organization
- Strong financial acumen, with expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Fluency in both English and French, with a strong understanding of Canadian business and regulatory environments
