Position: 3D Art Supervisor - Object Bank [Far Cry Project]

As a 3D Art Supervisor within a dynamic production team at Ubisoft, your primary duties will involve strategizing, coordinating, overseeing, and assessing the contributions of your team and their influence on the project.

You will facilitate a highly iterative development cycle to manage artistic components such as modeling, visual effects, and lighting that align with cinematic requirements while aiming for both efficiency and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and lead team meetings;
  • Acquaint yourself with the narrative and gameplay of the project (game design documents) and master the technical and/or artistic limitations to effectively guide and mentor your team;
  • Provide mentorship to team members on both technical and artistic aspects as necessary;
  • Engage in performance evaluations in collaboration with project management;
  • Coordinate the resolution of issues related to your team's output;
  • Contribute to the game's development in your area of expertise (this will vary based on team size);
  • Possess experience in at least one complete game production or its equivalent;
  • Demonstrate effective time and priority management for yourself and your team;
  • Familiarity with databases is advantageous (e.g., JIRA, Perforce, etc.);
  • Understanding of technical constraints associated with real-time applications, 3D engines, and level design tools.
