Responsibilities:- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce and record images of the heart and blood vessels
- Monitor examinations to evaluate image quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed
- Record, store, and process scanned images using camera units connected to the ultrasound equipment
- Provide personal assistance to patients during treatments
- Prepare examination reports for physicians
- Check ultrasound equipment to ensure proper operation
- Organize day-to-day business operations
- CRCS - Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Certification
- Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Registration
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
- Other trades certificate or diploma
This is a casual position working in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting. You will be required to work under pressure, have attention to detail, and be able to stand for extended periods. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
